We Will Convey This Fact to Washington: Peskov

Russia has agreed to impose a moratorium on striking Ukraine's energy infrastructure in the interest of achieving peace. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.

“President Putin remains open to exploring Ukrainian resolution through political and diplomatic methods. The fact that Russia has declared a temporary moratorium on strikes against energy infrastructure objects, in agreement with the American side, is the most telling evidence of this,” Peskov stated.

According to him, Ukraine continues to systematically violate its obligations by targeting Russian energy infrastructure facilities. “Russia is not abandoning cooperation with the U.S. against the backdrop of these strikes and is prepared to convey to Washington the fact that Kyiv is not striving for peace,” Dmitry Peskov added.
