In Gyumri, Women Aged Over 70, 80, and 90 Arrested for Electoral Violations

On March 30, around 3:00 PM, four citizens were arrested in Gyumri on suspicion of committing electoral violations, three of whom are women aged over 70, 80, and 90. However, until 10:20 PM, law enforcement authorities did not allow lawyers to visit them.

The "Initiative of Five Human Rights Defenders" reported: "We note that the behavior of law enforcement not only violates the law but is also overtly political, as it evidently aims to delay the rebuttal of the statements made by the ruling party's campaign. Regarding the moral aspect of this issue, it is even unnecessary to comment on it."
