Armenian Foreign Ministry: No Armenian Citizens Among Myanmar Earthquake Victims

No information is currently available regarding the presence of Armenian citizens among the victims of the earthquake in Myanmar. This was reported to Sputnik Armenia by the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Earlier, it was announced that the death toll from the earthquake in Myanmar has exceeded 1,002, with another 2,376 people injured. Numerous individuals are considered missing.

Rescue operations are still underway to clear the debris, but local forces are insufficient for the task.
