The price of gold per ounce has surpassed the $3100 mark for the first time in history, setting a new historical record. This was reported by РБК.
As of 18:49 Yerevan time, gold futures for June on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) increased by 1.57%, reaching $3100.4 per ounce, according to the publication.
In mid-March, the precious metal first hit $3001.5 per troy ounce.
