French Television Apologizes to Armenia

The French television channel Arte France has issued an apology after airing an episode of its show '28 Minutes' that featured a map excluding Armenia. The host stated, 'We apologize to Armenia for displaying an incorrect map.'

It is noteworthy that during the broadcast of the program, which airs in France and Germany, the map of the South Caucasus shown did not include Armenia and depicted it as part of Azerbaijan.

Jean-Christophe Buisson, deputy director of Le Figaro, commented on X, saying, 'I never believe for a second that this was done intentionally by Arte France’s '28 Minutes' or due to any actions by the Azerbaijani television lobby, but this mistake is very painful for the eyes and heart. Armenia was simply erased from the map of the Caucasus. Erdoğan and Aliyev's dream...'
