Zelensky Signs Law on Deployment of Ukrainian Armed Forces to Other Countries
The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have the opportunity to be deployed to other countries during the period of martial law. This was stated in a law signed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to the document, during the period of martial law, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can be sent to other countries and remain on the territory of those states for the implementation of measures related to ensuring national security and defense, repelling and deterring armed aggression against Ukraine, and defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Along with this bill, the head of state provides information on the tasks, total number of units, types and compositions of their weapons and military equipment, command structure, and duration of their stay.
