Hayk Kostanyan Responds to Zarouhi Postanjyan's Statement

The head of the "Mother Armenia" faction of the Yerevan Council, Zarouhi Postanjyan, made several unfounded statements during a protest in front of the Yerevan municipality, to which I would like to respond. This was announced by Hayk Kostanyan, the press secretary of the Mayor of Yerevan, on his Facebook page.

"On September 18, 2023, permission was granted to Vahram Adamyan for the design of a multi-apartment building at 11-13 N. Zaryan Street in the Arabkir administrative district (no. 01/18-07/1-D-112575-671). The construction is classified among high-risk category 4 objects and has passed all necessary expert evaluations, including the state comprehensive expert examination.

According to the permit issued on September 18, 2023, the structure includes 8 above-ground and 1 partial retreat floor. The project has been checked and approved by the relevant state bodies, including the RA Urban Development Committee, the "Interagency Expertise" LLC, and the inspection bodies of RA urban development, technical, and fire safety.

On November 14, 2024, the construction project was approved (no. 01/50-03-910-24), and "ADAMIUM" LLC was granted a construction permit (no. 01/50-02-1985-24) with a validity of 3 years (until November 14, 2027).

The mentioned plot is included in the residential construction zone with multi-story apartment buildings according to the master plan of Yerevan and the zoning project of the Arabkir neighborhood. Claims regarding supposed patron-client relationships between the developer and Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Avinyan are also unfounded," the statement said.
