We Are Eagerly Awaiting the Coming Days: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to French President Emmanuel Macron for his "clear vision and efforts to achieve peace." The Ukrainian president published a corresponding message on March 6 on the X social media platform.

“Peace must be real, not just in words. It cannot mean capitulation or the collapse of Ukraine; it must be just, reliable, and lasting, achievable only through strong and long-term guarantees of security for Ukraine, Europe, and the entire world,” wrote the president.

He also thanked those who support Ukraine: “We deeply appreciate the efforts of everyone who supports Ukraine and strengthens Europe’s defense capabilities. We are eagerly looking forward to working together on steps towards peace in the coming days,” Zelensky stated.

It is noteworthy that French President Emmanuel Macron, in a message to the public ahead of the EU leaders’ summit, announced plans to gather the heads of the general staffs of countries discussing the establishment of a peacekeeping mission for Ukraine in Paris.
