U.S. President Donald Trump has commented on his idea of incorporating Greenland into the United States. “I think we will achieve that. In any case, we will do it,” Trump said.

He stated that the United States supports Greenland's right to determine its own future, but he “welcomes” the idea of the country joining the U.S. for the sake of national security and to enrich Greenland.

Trump also spoke about the desire to regain the Panama Canal, saying, “And here, Marco Rubio is the key player. Good luck, Marco. Now we know who to blame if something goes wrong,” he added.
