National Assembly Approves Project for Driver Penalty Points

The National Assembly has approved on the first reading a bill proposing changes to the "Administrative Offenses" law, which suggests increasing the penalty points for drivers from 9 to 13.

The project received support from 64 members, while 21 abstained from voting.

It is worth noting that the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, stated during a live broadcast on Radio Aurora that this legislative change has been initiated by working drivers residing in our country.
