I Received an Important Letter from Zelensky: Trump

The U.S. President addressed Congress, announcing that he received a letter from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in which Zelensky expresses readiness for peace negotiations. This was reported by the BBC.

According to Trump, there have also been signals from Russia regarding their willingness for peace. “Today I received an important letter from Ukrainian President Zelensky. The letter states: ‘Ukraine is ready to sit down at the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring about sustainable peace. No one wants peace more than Ukrainians’,” Trump said.

He also noted that Zelensky indicated a willingness to sign an agreement regarding mineral resources “at any convenient time.” Trump expressed gratitude for the letter, adding, “At the same time, we have been conducting serious negotiations with Russia and have received strong signals that they are ready for peace.”
