The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has announced that Minsk is prepared to host negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump, and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. He made this statement during an interview with American blogger Mario Naufal.

“Let’s sit here calmly, without noise, without shouting, and reach an agreement. Therefore, relay this to Trump: I am here waiting for him with Putin and Zelensky; we will sit down and calmly come to an agreement. If you want to come to an agreement,” noted Lukashenko.

At the same time, he rejected the role of mediator in the negotiations between Moscow and Washington, stating that he “hates” mediation as it implies taking a position between two sides without the real possibility of influencing the process.
