Roads Closed and Impassable in Armenia

The Emergency Situations Service informs that there are closed and impassable roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads leading from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to K'ari Lich and Amberd Fortress are closed in the Aragatsotn region.

The Berd-Chambarak road is closed for all types of vehicles.

The Vardenyats mountain pass is closed for trucks with trailers due to snow and blizzard conditions, and is difficult to navigate for other types of vehicles.

Roads in the Aragats region have areas of black ice.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
