Use of such extreme methods will bring Armenian football to no good point, says Pyunik's head coach

The head coach of FC Pyunik, Yeghishe Melikyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "Days ago, I witnessed the use of violence against fans dedicated to Armenian football, who were presenting their demands and have the right to do so. As a former player of the Armenian national team, I watched this scene with great sadness, and I am confident that the application of such extreme methods will bring Armenian football to no good point. I call on the relevant authorities to exclude the use of force, drop all charges, and release the arrested fans; ultimately, we should engage in dialogue and try to find areas for compromise."
