Road Closures in Armenia

The Emergency Services of Armenia reports that there are currently closed roads within the country.

The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to the Kar Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed in the Aragatsotn region.

The Berd-Jambarak road is closed to all types of vehicles. The Vardenyats mountain pass is closed to truck trailers. There is a snowstorm reported in the Shinuahayer-Harjis section.

Drivers are advised to travel only with winter tires.

Regarding Lars, information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of North Ossetia in Russia states that the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
