Zelensky Thanked the U.S. 33 Times for Supporting Ukraine, Says CNN

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed gratitude to the United States, its officials, and its people a total of 33 times for their support, according to findings from a fact-checking report by CNN. It is noted that this is far from a complete list, as the media outlet did not consider Zelensky's daily statements made in Ukrainian.

It should be recalled that during a meeting in the Oval Office on February 28, both U.S. President Donald Trump and Vice President Jay D. Vance told Zelensky that he was not sufficiently grateful for the support his country received. CNN points out that Zelensky has thanked the U.S. numerous times since Russia began its large-scale invasion in February 2022. He has expressed his gratitude not only to Trump but also to former President Joe Biden, members of Congress from both parties, American defense firms and their employees, as well as the American people.

The publication lists all of Zelensky's public statements in English expressing thanks to the U.S., starting from January 21, 2022, when he thanked Biden for unprecedented diplomatic and military assistance, and concluding with a phone call he had with Trump on February 12, 2025.
