Trump Angered by Zelensky's Behavior at the White House

U.S. President Donald Trump has not only been disappointed but also angered by the behavior of Volodymyr Zelensky, who has created a real "trap" at the White House, said Mike Waltz, the U.S. leader's national security advisor.

"This could and should have had a positive role for Ukraine, but instead, all of this angered the president regarding Zelensky's behavior, and it became unclear whether Zelensky really wants to stop the fighting," Waltz stated.

Waltz mentioned that Zelensky's demeanor at the White House was "a kind of trap," adding that "it was completely wrong."

"We met after the press conference, and almost unanimously confirmed that after such an insult in the Oval Office, we do not see a continuation," Waltz emphasized. Trump's team also concluded that further involvement would only lead to setbacks.

"If you disagree, do it behind closed doors, not like this; that was absolutely unacceptable," added the senior White House official.
