Details on the Argavand Furniture Store Fire: Ministry of Emergency Situations

On March 1, at 12:44 PM, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting that a fire had broken out in one of the furniture stores on Isakov Avenue in Yerevan.

With the fire complexity rated as "1 BIS", four firefighting teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Yerevan Rescue Department, along with the on-duty personnel from the Firefighting and Rescue Operations Organization Division, the Medical Support Division, and operational groups from the National Crisis Management Center, were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the fire started on the second floor of the furniture store, covering an area of approximately 500 square meters. A fire complexity level of "2" was declared, and an additional two firefighting teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Yerevan Rescue Department were sent to the scene.

The fire was contained by 1:15 PM and extinguished by 1:35 PM. Approximately 300 square meters of the store's second floor, along with its contents, sustained partial damage.
