Where Is Snow Falling and Where Is Blizzard Conditions Present
The Emergency Service has reported that there are closed and impassable roads within the territory of Armenia.
In the Aragatsotn region, the roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to Kar Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed.
The roads from Zakhkharovit to Berkarat, from Berd to Chambarak, and the Aragatsotn region roads from Charjik to Midnatun and from Vardablur to Lernapar are closed for all types of vehicles. Additionally, the stretch known as "Zanger" from the Jermuk junction is closed for trucks and truck-trailers.
The road from the Yeraskh village turnaround to the Vayots Dzor region is closed for trucks.
The Vardenyats Pass (with blizzard conditions) (M-10) is difficult to traverse for truck-trailers.
In the Shirak region, the inter-community roads connecting the villages of Gehaknist, Mantash, and Aregshat are closed for all types of vehicles, while the Noravan-Tatev highway is one-way.
In the Syunik region, the inter-community roads leading from the M-3 highway to Lernapar, as well as those in the regions of Amasia and Shoushi, and the roads from Tashir to Dashtadem, Tashir to Katnarat, Tatev to Ltsen, and Alagyaz to Artik, are impassable for all types of vehicles.
Snowfall is reported in the cities of Vanadzor, Spitak, and Yeghegadzor. There are patches of black ice on the roads of Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, and Syunik regions. Snowfall continues in the Aragats region along with blizzard conditions.
