Argentina Receives First Fighters from Denmark

Argentina has received its first F-16 fighter jet as part of a contract to purchase 24 aircraft. This was announced by the country's Minister of Defense, Luis Petri.

“The addition of the F-16 fighter jet is a historic day for the restoration of our national defense within the Argentine Air Force. We have completed the largest military aircraft procurement in the last 40 years,” he stated.

The first sample received is intended for training personnel. It is noted that the first six combat aircraft will arrive in the country by the end of 2025.
