Which Roads Are Closed: Current Situation

The Emergency Situations Service reports that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.

In the Aragatsotn region, the roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to the Kari Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed.

The section from the Jermuk intersection to "Zanger" is closed only for trucks with trailers.

The Vardenyats Pass (M-10) is closed for trucks with trailers and difficult for other vehicles.

Roads in the Syunik region are closed for trucks with trailers and difficult for all types of vehicles.

In the Aragatsotn and Gegharkunik regions, as well as on the M-4 road, there are patches of black ice. Drivers are advised to travel only with winter tires.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Emergency Situations Departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed only for trucks.
