Hundreds of Congested Trucks: Situation at Lars

The traffic management center of North Ossetia reports that approximately 700 Armenian trucks are currently congested near the ‘Upper Lars’ checkpoint on the Russia-Georgia border.

The Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars international highway has been closed since February 16 due to worsening weather conditions in Georgia.

According to the latest data, 2,542 vehicles are queued to cross the checkpoint, including 700 Armenian trucks.
