Temperature Will Decrease by Another 10 Degrees: Weather Forecast
The Hydro-Meteorology and Monitoring Center has announced that on February 21 during the day, and on 22-23, snow is expected across the republic. On the 21st in individual regions and in Yerevan, snowfall will be very heavy, with blizzards in some mountainous areas and low horizontal visibility.
There is a forecast for icy conditions on the republic's roads. The air temperature is expected to gradually decrease by another 7-10 degrees, particularly during the night from February 22-24.
In Yerevan, on February 21 during the day, snow is anticipated, with very heavy snowfall on the 21st and possible light snow in the afternoon on the 25th. On February 24, it is expected to be dry, continuing without precipitation on the night of the 25th and on the 26th.
In the regions, on February 21 during the day and on the 22-23, significant snowfall is expected in most areas, with very heavy snow in some places on the 21st, and blizzards in certain mountainous regions leading to low horizontal visibility. Light snow is expected in various regions on February 24-25 and during the night of the 26th.
The wind will be southwest at 3-6 m/s, with an expected increase in wind speed during the day on February 21, reaching 17-20 m/s on the 25th, and 15-18 m/s on the 24th and 26th. The air temperature will drop by 2-3 degrees during the day on the 21st, and gradually by another 7-10 degrees, especially during the night on the 22-24.
