Road Conditions in Armenia

There are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia. This was reported by the Rescue Service.

The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to Kary Lake and Amberd Fortress in the Aragatsotn region are closed.

The Fantan-Jraber and Kaputan-Hatis-Zovashen roads are closed for all types of vehicles.

All roads in the Lori region and the Vardenyats Pass (snow, fog, blizzard) are closed for trucks and difficult for other types of vehicles.

The Tigranashen serpentine roads, the road from the Jermuk intersection to the Syunik region, and the road from the Syunik village to Tatev are closed for trucks with trailers, while the Artashavan-Zilkar road is closed for trucks.

The Spitak-Gyumri road is closed for trucks with trailers and difficult for other types of vehicles.

The Vanadzor-Spitak road (up to the 12th km), Vanadzor-Dzoraget, Vanadzor-Dilijan, Vanadzor-Stepavan (up to the serpentine) and Talin-Mastara roads are closed for trucks.

Inter-community roads in the regions of Amasia and Ashotsk, Gyumri-Bavra, inter-community roads in the Artik region, roads leading to Jermuk city from M-2 and to Shenkani village from M-3, and the section called "Meghruvan hill" are difficult to navigate for all types of vehicles.

Snow has fallen in the regions of Syunik, Lori, Vayots Dzor, and in the cities of Martuni, Gavar, Vardenis, and Dilijan.

There are patches of black ice on the roads in the Alagyaz region, in the Dilijan and Tigranashen serpentine areas (fog), and on the Gyumri-Yerevan road in the areas of Hayrenik and Lanjik (fog).

Blizzard conditions are present on the Yerevan-Sevan road at km 25-40, Lanjik-Mastara, Horom-Artik-Metz Mantash, Gyumri-Jajur, Charentsavan-Fantan, and Charentsavan-Arzakan roads.

There is fog in the Ashtarak region.
