Weather to Freeze by 10-14 Degrees
From February 20-23, snowfall is expected across the republic, with heavy snowfall in certain regions and in Yerevan on the 20th and 21st. Blizzards and low horizontal visibility are anticipated in some mountainous areas. This was reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
“Black ice is expected on the roads of the republic. The air temperature will gradually decrease by 10-14 degrees both at night and during the day on February 20-22,” the announcement states.
In Yerevan, snow is expected from February 20-23, with very heavy snowfall on the 20th and 21st. Clear weather is anticipated on February 24.
Across the republic, on February 24, snowfall is expected in some regions, while significant snowfall will occur in many regions from February 20-23, with very heavy snowfall in certain areas on the 20th and 21st. Blizzards and low horizontal visibility are projected in some mountainous regions.
The wind will be southeast at 2-5 m/s, with an expected increase in wind speed to 20-25 m/s on February 19, and 15-18 m/s on the 20th and 21st.
The air temperature will gradually decrease by 10-14 degrees both at night and during the day from February 20-22.
