US Will Not Lift Sanctions Against Russia
US Secretary of State Mark Rubio has promised European allies that the US will not lift sanctions against Russia as long as the war continues, according to Bloomberg.
During a phone call following negotiations between representatives of Russia and the US, the Secretary reassured that the sanctions would remain in place until the conflict is resolved.
It is noteworthy that during a press conference following negotiations in Riyadh on February 18, Rubio stated that Western countries would have to lift sanctions against Russia if the negotiations come to a conclusion.
