Russia Ready for Negotiations on Ukraine Issue, Putin Says

Russia is ready to return to the negotiating table regarding the Ukraine issue. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He stated that he highly values the outcomes of the negotiations held in Riyadh.

“Russia has taken the first step to resume work with the United States in various areas of mutual interest,” said Putin.

Putin also mentioned that Russia has not withdrawn from communication with Europeans and Ukraine, but rather those parties have ceased or prohibited communication.

According to the President, simply meeting with Trump is not enough; it is essential to address the most critical issues, including that of Ukraine.
“The current state of relations between Russia and the United States is such that a meeting over coffee is insufficient,” he added.
