Fire in One of the Ministry of Defense Military Units

A fire that broke out in the kitchen area of the canteen at Military Unit N of the Ministry of Defense has been extinguished. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. “There are no casualties. The circumstances of the fire outbreak, as well as the extent of material damage, are being clarified,” the statement said.

Claims published in the media stating that the small fire in the kitchenette of Military Unit N was inevitable due to the canteen's old age are untrue. This was noted by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, Aram Torosyan. “This canteen was renovated and equipped with new furniture last year in 2024,” he wrote.
