It was possible to maintain a correct political policy with Russia as a partner and not to become hostile towards the West. This was stated by the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, during a press conference.
“This window was opening, but Armenia has already made itself somewhat hostile towards Russia. We made mistakes and, by our nature, attempted to shift those mistakes onto Russia; this will not go unnoticed,” he said.
