Trump Can Come to Russia Anytime, Says Peskov

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin that U.S. President Donald Trump can come to Russia at any time if he wishes.

“Of course,” he replied to Zarubin’s question. Earlier, Peskov had mentioned that Russian President Vladimir Putin usually speaks alone with foreign leaders over the phone but invites assistants in certain cases. On February 12, Putin had a phone call with Trump, which lasted nearly an hour and a half. The two leaders agreed that the conflict in Ukraine should come to an end. Putin noted that a long-term settlement in Ukraine could be achieved through negotiations.
