US Sets Deadline for End of Russia-Ukraine War
Mariam Z.
Ukraine will be at the negotiating table, but Europe will not be there, stated US Special Envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg. “Options for security guarantees for Ukraine are being discussed, but the final decision will be made by Trump,” he noted.
“The war in Ukraine must end sooner than a year from now. I publicly provide 180 days for all parties to engage,” Kellogg said. “Ukraine's losses in the war with the Russian Federation surpass US losses in Vietnam and Korea combined (the US had about 94,000 - ed.). Trump wants to stop that,” he emphasized.
It should be recalled that European Council President Antonio Costa announced that the EU will stand by Ukraine as a security guarantor in peace negotiations.
