We Have the Sickest Population in the World: Robert Kennedy Jr.
Americans have the highest rate of illness in the world, said U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert Kennedy Jr. during a broadcast on Fox News. "We consume 70 percent of the world’s pharmaceuticals. We spend two to three times more on healthcare than other countries, yet we have the worst outcomes. We have the sickest population in the world," he lamented.
The secretary promised to focus his departments' attention on promoting a healthy lifestyle. As part of a major campaign called "Make America Healthy Again," Kennedy Jr. plans to revise dietary guidelines, address issues related to highly processed foods, and investigate the root causes of chronic diseases.
