Drivers Advised to Use Winter Tires: Ministry of Internal Affairs

The Rescue Service informs that there are blocked and impassable roads within the Republic of Armenia. The roads from the "Amberd" high mountainous meteorological station to Kari Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed in the Aragatsotn region.

The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to traverse for trucks with trailers. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
