I Have No Intentions to Buy TikTok, Says Elon Musk

The head of the new Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE) in the U.S. government, American entrepreneur Elon Musk, has stated that he does not intend to submit a bid to purchase the social network TikTok and has no desire to acquire it. This was reported by РИА Новости.

Earlier, Bloomberg had reported, citing sources, that Chinese officials were considering the possibility of transferring control of TikTok's operations in the U.S. to Musk. Later, the social network TikTok called the reports of Musk's alleged planned sale in the U.S. purely fictional literature.

"I have not applied to buy TikTok. I have no plans on what I would do if I bought it... I'm not burning to acquire TikTok," Musk stated at a conference in Germany, with a video of his speech published on YouTube's Welt Documentary channel.
