Only Iran Stands by Armenia on This Issue: Ambassador

Only Armenia and Iran share a similar view regarding the so-called “Zangezur Corridor.” This statement was made by the Iranian ambassador to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani, during a press conference held on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

“Only Iran supports Armenia in opposing the so-called ‘Zangezur Corridor.’ Among the countries in the region, only Iran stands by Armenia on this issue,” emphasized the ambassador. He added that there are no disagreements with Armenia on this matter, stating that the “Zangezur Corridor” is detrimental to both Armenia and Iran.
