Officials Arrested from the Municipality Have Been Detained

Four out of the eight individuals arrested yesterday have had detention measures applied against them as requested by the court, all of which were granted. This was reported to Auroranews by Marina Ohanyan, the press secretary of the Anti-Corruption Committee.

According to her, among the four detained individuals, two are officials from the municipality. It is noteworthy that yesterday, Hayk Kostanyan, the spokesperson for the Yerevan Mayor, announced that employees of the Yerevan municipality had been arrested. The municipality is cooperating with law enforcement agencies to support the procedures established by law.
