Roads Closed in Armenia

The Emergency Situations Service reports that there are closed roads within the territory of Armenia.

In the Aragatsotn Province, the roads leading from the high mountainous meteorological station "Amberd" to the Kari Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Regarding the Lars Road, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation’s North Ossetia crisis management center, the Stepanstminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
