What Functions Will Transportation Inspectors Perform

Starting February 1, there will be the presence of inspectors in Yerevan's public transport. They will perform the following functions:

• Monitoring the frequency of routes,
• Overseeing the cleanliness of public transport both externally and internally,
• Ensuring that drivers are appropriately dressed while working,
• Monitoring the adherence to etiquette rules during interactions with passengers.

After the implementation of the cashless payment system, the functions of the line control service have also expanded to include notifying TelCell about issues arising during payments via validators, as well as assisting citizens in making payments correctly.
