Five Days After Pashinyan's Denial of Historical Genocide, No Response
Former director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, Doctor of Historical Sciences Haik Demoyan writes: “One of the individuals visible in the photo is Edida Gzoyan, the director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute. It has been five days since Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's recent statement denying the historical occurrence of the Armenian Genocide. Edida Gzoyan has remained persistently silent and has not made any comments or condemnatory statements so far. In this regard, no remarks or announcements have been published on the official website of the museum.
There has been no condemnatory statement from the Board of Trustees of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, which was established by Nikol Pashinyan's decision. The individual visible on the left side of the photo is suspected of stealing from the library of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute in 2004 and misappropriating highly valuable books. Both Edida Gzoyan and Harutyun Marutyan have taken no steps to recover the stolen items. They are both considered accomplices due to their direct and indirect involvement in a number of criminal offenses, including money laundering, misappropriation of large sums of money, destruction of financial documents, illegal management of employees' salaries, and other legal violations. All these facts have been reported to the investigative authorities within the framework of a criminal case initiated in 2021.
