Robbery at MP Hrachya Hakobyan's Private Residence: 'Hraparak'

'Hraparak' newspaper reports that unknown individuals have robbed the private residence of Hrachya Hakobyan, a member of the 'Civil Contract' faction and the brother-in-law of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The incident occurred earlier this year, but the MP is attempting to keep it under wraps. He has confided in close associates that he does not wish to publicize the matter to avoid unnecessary speculation.

Despite this, discussions about the colleague’s 'misfortune' are ongoing within the 'Civil Contract' party. Some have expressed malicious glee, suggesting that if Hrachya had lived a bit longer in his residence, the robbery might not have happened, as he reportedly spends the whole year traveling, providing an opportunity for thieves.

In response to our inquiry, the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that on January 14, they received a report of a robbery in one of the private residences in Dzoraghbyur, and the materials have been forwarded to the Investigative Committee. Hakobyan acquired this residence after the change of power.
