Dispute Between Alen Simonian and Arthur Khachatryan

A dispute occurred in the National Assembly between Alen Simonian and Arthur Khachatryan. Speaking about the pension reform, Arthur Khachatryan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction, stated: 'Pension reform has failed in Armenia because when the mandatory accumulation system was introduced, two things were promised: first, that this would ensure a decent old age for our citizens, but we can’t say anything about that since there hasn’t been a first pensioner who received their pension. The other promise was that this money would go towards the development of our economy. The state is now silent about this.'

'The person is not present; why are you talking about them? You are labeling, whereas I can at least say three clichés about the person, the party, and the candidates brought. I can also say: you are against while being for, and for while being against. You are not from the Democratic Party, are you? You will like it eventually,' Simonian remarked.
