Snow Expected Across Armenia, Blizzard Conditions in Three Regions

Snow is expected across Armenia during the evening hours of January 19 and the night of January 20. This was reported to Armenpress by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia. Blizzard conditions and low horizontal visibility are expected in Shirak, Aragatsotn mountainous areas, and Gegharkunik.

The wind will be from the northwest at 2-5 m/s, with gusts expected to reach 15-18 m/s in some areas on January 19-20. The air temperature is not expected to change significantly, according to the announcement.

In Yerevan, snow is reported during the evening hours of January 19 and the night of January 20. There will be no precipitation expected during the daytime of January 20 and from January 21-24.
