Israel Presents List of Hostages to Be Released

Israel has received a list of hostages to be released as part of the first phase of a deal with Hamas. This was reported by the office of Prime Minister Netanyahu. The Palestinian movement also announced that three individuals will be released today.

In total, 33 previously captured individuals are to be handed over to Israel. In exchange, Hamas will receive over a thousand Palestinians currently held in Israeli custody. It is worth noting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that a ceasefire in Gaza will not commence until the Palestinian Hamas movement provides the list of hostages to be released.
