Clarification from the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Regarding the Armenia-U.S. Strategic Agreement

The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ani Badalyan, has issued a clarification regarding the strategic partnership between the Republic of Armenia and the United States. On January 14, a document on Strategic Partnership between the Republic of Armenia and the United States was signed in Washington. Both the Armenian and American sides published the fully identical text of the document that was developed and agreed upon as a result of joint work.

The statute defines the strategic nature of the partnership between the two countries and simultaneously initiates the establishment of a commission, which is the framework within which the parties will work on implementing the objectives enshrined in the statute and discussing issues of cooperation in the sectoral directions mentioned in the statute.
