Ukraine Captures Two North Korean Soldiers in Kursk: Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reported that Ukrainian forces have captured two North Korean soldiers in Russia's Kursk region. He shared this information on his Telegram channel.
"These are two soldiers who, despite being injured, have survived. They have been moved to Kyiv and are in communication with investigators from Ukraine's Security Service," he noted.
Zelensky emphasized that accomplishing this task was not easy: "Typically, the Russians and representatives of the North Korean military tend to kill their wounded and do everything possible to ensure there is no evidence of another state's involvement, namely North Korea, in the war against Ukraine. I am grateful to the soldiers of our special operations group 84 and our paratroopers, who captured these two. Like all prisoners, these two North Korean soldiers are provided with the necessary medical care and attention," Zelensky highlighted.
South Korea has also confirmed that Ukraine has captured two North Korean soldiers.
