Oliveira Wants to Compete Against Winner of Tsarukyan-Makhachev Bout
Brazilian UFC fighter Charles Oliveira has expressed his desire to face the winner of the championship bout between Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan. This was reported by armsport.am.
Makhachev and Tsarukyan will compete for the UFC lightweight championship belt at UFC 311, taking place on January 19 in Los Angeles.
“I even offered to be a backup for this fight to the UFC. They told me to wait. Therefore, I am here in the U.S. and awaiting who will become the winner, and I will meet him in the octagon. When the UFC said to wait, I took a little vacation to spend time with my family, my wife, and my daughter. I asked Dana White for front row tickets for UFC 311,” said Oliveira in an interview with Manuk Hakobyan.
Charles Oliveira has participated in 45 MMA bouts and has achieved 35 victories. He is currently ranked second among UFC lightweight fighters.
