How Many Individuals Provided Medical Assistance with Fake Diplomas in Armenia

In Armenia, inspections conducted in 2024 have revealed cases of providing medical assistance and services with fake diplomas. This was announced by the head of the State Health and Labor Inspectorate, Slavic Sargsyan.

"In total, there have been 7 such cases recorded in the reporting year, whereas there have been none before. In 2024, we recorded 15 cases of unlicensed services, which include massage parlors and cosmetic services. All information has been forwarded to the relevant authorities," noted Sargsyan.

Addressing issues related to pharmaceuticals, the head of the SHTI emphasized that five orders have been issued regarding medication recalls, and there has also been one recorded case of drug counterfeiting.
