Casualties and Injuries Due to Snow and Ice in France

Two people have died and another 20 have been injured in France due to cold weather, snow, and black ice. This was reported by the Associated Press.

One victim slipped on the sidewalk and sustained a severe head injury. The other victim, who had no permanent address, was found dead in the city of Valenciennes, according to the report.

The cold weather conditions were first recorded on Wednesday. The statement indicated that emergency services were called to respond to road traffic accidents, individuals trapped in snow and black ice, flooding, and other emergencies.
