Zhanna Andreasyan on Snoop Dogg's Concert and the Allocated Budget

The organization responsible for organizing Snoop Dogg's concert has been negotiating throughout the year to ensure the event takes place. This was announced by Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan.

“At different times, we had various preliminary agreements that, for various reasons, did not go ahead. This means that the provisions of the contract must be enforced. Since the concert did not take place during the scheduled period, we have formally requested the organizing company to return the funds to the state budget, as was stipulated,” she stated.

Recall that the concert of the famous American rapper Snoop Dogg was scheduled to be held in Yerevan on September 23, 2023, but was postponed. According to a decision by the government of Armenia, a contract for 2.318.596.800 AMD was recorded in the state budget under the program “Implementation of Cultural Events.” This amount was fully paid on August 25, 2023.
