Economic Activity Indicator of Armenia

The Statistical Committee of Armenia reports that the economic activity indicator in Armenia for January-November 2024 has increased by 7.4% compared to the same period last year. For comparison, the economic activity indicator was 8.1% during the first ten months of this year compared to the same period last year.

The volume of industrial output in January-November of this year was 7.6%, amounting to 2 trillion 673.1 billion drams, while the figure for January-October was 11.7%.

The volume of construction in the same period reached 567 billion drams or 14.9%, compared to 15.5% during January-October of the previous year.

The services sector grew by 6.3% or 3 trillion 027 billion drams in the reported period, whereas the figure for the previous month was 5.8%.

In terms of trade, it reached 18% or 5 trillion 604 billion drams. International trade turnover in January-November 2024 increased by 54% compared to the same period last year, amounting to 11.1 billion drams, of which exports constituted 73.9% or 5 billion drams and imports accounted for 41.5% or 6.3 billion drams.

During January-November, the average exchange rate of the Armenian dram against the US dollar was 392.38.
